Mercatus – Executive, Operations

• Oversees daily mall operations
• Responsible for planning and implementing of comprehensive facility management programme
• Regular building and M&E inspections
• Ensure compliance to authorities’ requirements
• Manage the daily operations including fire safety, security and M&E maintenance of the mall facilities
• Supervise a team of outsourced security officers in daily security operations and carpark operations, review and approve the team’s duty rosters
• Develop and implement fire emergency plan, fire safety audit, maintenance plan for security surveillance systems and carpark facilities
• Follow up and investigate incidents or complaints relating to fire safety and security in the mall
• Co-develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for M&E installations in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Conduct general inspection and to identify services for rectification and repair
• Oversee contractors’ performance in accordance with contractual work scope and timeline of completion
• Follow through the tender, evaluation and recommendation of fire safety, security and M&E related service or term contracts, as well as its administration and management
• Develop and support implementation of AEI projects as a team

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Estate Management, Building, M&E Engineering or relevant field of study.
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in managing retail malls, with strong building and M&E knowledge and hands on experience
• Must be familiar with local Code of Practices and Building & Fire Safety Regulations
