Menck Pte Ltd – QA / QC Inspector

Targets and Responsibilities:

• To ensure that procedures and standards for MENCK Group are adhered to
• To keep up with procedures and standards set for QC Department
• HSE compliance with statutory and internal requirements and targets
• To provide Customer satisfaction at all time when dealing on behalf of MENCK PTE/GmbH or other ACTEON companies
• To ensure standard Quality Assurance / Services when dealing with MENCK PTE/GmbH clients
• To ensure that work on behalf of MENCK Pte is executed correctly at optimal time, quality and cost
• To collaborate with MENCK Pte internal departments such as Warehouse, Operations, Purchasing etc., MENCK GmbH and other ACTEON operating companies such as LDD/LMH/CIS/CORE (Foundation Cluster)
• Capable of working using own initiative and at times unsupervised
• Undertake training as required
• Demonstrate consistent commitment towards targets and goal settings

Main Tasks:

• Conduct incoming goods quality inspection for all purchased items according to procedure
• Quality inspection of used parts during overhaul and repair projects
• Working back to back with the Warehouse department
• Technical consultation of Purchasing department during manufacturing and repair projects
• Oversee quality control in manufacturers premises in Singapore and Overseas
• Document control of all quality and certification documents within MENCK PTE
• Control of Workshop Inventory of tools and equipment
• Planning and organizing of recertification and maintenance of all workshop related machines and equipment
• To monitor and actively follow up NCR (Non-conformity Reports) actions and complaint on suppliers
• To assist the development, processing and typing of quality inspection standards for overhaul/maintenance works
• To review and advise on supplier reports in collaboration with Engineering department
• To engage in any other activities within capacity as requested and delegated by the Head of Department

Requirements:

- Candidate should possess at least ITC/ Higher Nitec/ Diploma or its equivalent

- Experience in QC Inspection/ QA role in engineering field is a plus

- Familiar with measuring tools for dimension checks

- Knowledge of quality management system

- Able to read and interpret complex engineering/ technical drawings

- Min 3 years experience in precision engineering or manufacturing industry
