As part of the Acteon Group, we are a dynamic, can-do company looking to recruit a high calibre and ambitious candidate to fill our current vacancy for:

Conductor Installation Mechanic

Reporting to the Group Maintenance Manager, the applicant will be required to carry out efficient and effective equipment preparation and maintenance. Travel to countries as and when required to repair and maintain all types of piling equipment both on and off the critical timeline.

Key duties will include:

• Travelling to client locations (predominantly Asia) to carry out service or repairs to CIS equipment, maintaining a high standard always;
• Carry out both preventive maintenance as well as ad hoc repairs according to CIS QA/QC procedures. Reporting all problems to the Group Maintenance Manager;
• Complete all CIS relevant equipment preparation paperwork;
• Responsible for function testing equipment and all is in good working order and suitable for the job in hand;
• Liaise with Customer Representatives or Facility Supervisor when carrying out equipment maintenance;
• Source and co-ordinate third party suppliers for maintenance of CIS equipment;
• Will be required to go offshore from time to time to work as part of the crew to install conductors/piles.

The successful candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic and exhibit a professional will to succeed.

The role will be based in Tuas Singapore at CIS offices c/o Acteon Singapore Operations Pte Ltd.

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity you will need:

• To be a qualified mechanic;
• Can demonstrate good knowledge of electrical systems;
• To be capable of working with technical drawings;
• A good engineering aptitude and technical background;
• To be able to co-ordinate maintenance whilst overseas;
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience;
• To be computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
