Mectron Engineering is looking for a Project Engineer that is pumped up enough to independently handle all project-related tasks. Work in an SME One Asia Award winner on projects, from the preparing of documents, to liaising with vendors, and supervising the production.

Pumped Up Project Engineer At Renowned Full Service Provider
Duties and Responsibility
Duties and Responsibility
- Independently oversee projects assigned with tasks
- Prepare engineering documents: Review comments and make revisions when necessary
- Issue final specification / BOM for purchase order and issue of PR
- Negotiate with vendor and supplier on terms and conditions of purchase
- Liaise with principal and vendors for the timely delivery of goods, fabrication and/or installation
- Co-ordinate with the production team for the fabrication of pump skid and assembly of the pumpset
- Liaise with the Yard and Owner on their engineering request and attend technical meetings to help resolve issues
- Conduct pump testing within our test bed o Conduct final inspection of product before delivery
- Supervise vendor’s work and conduct on-site inspection
- Supervise draftsperson in the production of drawings, and inspection form/record
- Verify order acknowledgement from vendor
- Prepare final document for the project
- Any other task assigned by Management
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent)
- Preferably 2-3 years experience in similar field
- Able to plan and handle drawn details
- Good in written and spoken English
- Prepared to work at site, i.e. land based project (e.g. sewage treatment plant); onboard ships
- Able to work and travel on overseas assignment for short duration Degree in any related field of studies
- Possess Class 3 driving license
- Singaporeans and PRs only
