Full-time Teacher (English and Maths / Science) at Enrichment Centre

About the role

Are you looking for a career in private education? Do you have a passion for guiding students through their academic journeys? Matt’s Education is looking for a dynamic and committed individual to join our team. This full-time role will see the candidate personally undertaking classes at our tuition centres, as well as engaging in curriculum and programme development work.

This position is only open to Singapore citizens and permanent residents.

Job scope

• Undertake group tuition classes (English and Maths/Science) at the primary and secondary levels

• Work closely with the founders to develop the curriculum at Matt’s Education

• Work closely with the team on pitching and undertaking enrichment programmes at schools

Job requirements

• Have at least a bachelor’s degree

• Strong command of the English language

• Able to teach two of the three subjects offered at our centre (English/Math/Science)

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, but prior teaching experience would lend favourable consideration

• Have the patience, passion and willingness to guide and mentor the younger generation

• Comfortable with conducting lessons in the classroom

• Able to work 4 weekdays and 1 weekend on a permanent basis

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
