Initially trading under the St. Michael name, the first store operated in a John Little store. The St. Michael name was officially changed to Marks & Spencer in 1994.

Al-Futtaim has held the regional franchise rights for Marks & Spencer since 1997 and the franchise partnership boasts 30 stores in Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia and Singapore.
There are currently nine Marks & Spencer stores in Singapore located at Wheelock Place, Paragon, Plaza Singapura, Parkway Parade, Raffles City, VivoCity, One Raffles Place and Jewel.

- Provide high standards of customer service
- Ensure that our customers are comfortable, welcome and courteously served
- Achieve standards set on sales floor; incl. till (handling of cash and credit cards), service zones, etc
- Manage departmental stock and size availability to facilitate layout planning
- Accurate stock movement’s admin (e.g. delivery check, stock transfer)
- Count merchandise and complete admin document accurately
- Operate the till with correct procedures, efficiently and accurately
- Recommend and promote products to customers

- Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Possess customer service mindset
- Positive attitude with a service oriented mindset
- Able to commit up to 6 days a week, 44 hours weekly
