We are looking for a motivated and people-oriented Human Resources Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Job Description

Job Summary

The Human Resources Intern will support the People & Culture team in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, training coordination, HR administration and compliance. This internship offers broad exposure to HR operations within an international hospitality brand.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Assist in posting job advertisements across recruitment platforms.
  • Screen resumes and coordinate interview schedules.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Prepare interview packs and maintain recruitment records.
  • Participate in career fairs and employer branding activities.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Prepare employment documents and onboarding materials.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and induction programmes.
  • Ensure employee files and HR records are complete and up to date.
  • Support exit interview scheduling and offboarding administration.

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Assist with leave, attendance and personnel documentation.
  • Prepare HR letters, reports and filing.
  • Support document control and compliance with company policies.

Employee Engagement

  • Assist in organising staff events, celebrations and recognition programmes.
  • Support employee communication initiatives.
  • Help coordinate wellness, learning and engagement activities.
  • Gather employee feedback and assist with engagement surveys.

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate internal and external training programmes.
  • Track training attendance and maintain training records.
  • Assist in preparing training materials and presentations.

HR Projects

  • Support policy reviews and SOP documentation.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and industry trends.
  • Assist with manpower reports, organisational charts and workforce planning.
  • Participate in special HR and organisational development projects.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Psychology, Hospitality or a related discipline.
  • Passionate about people, culture and organisational development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organised, detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Willing to learn HR systems and digital tools.
  • Able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
