Technology Trainee - Application Support (12 months)
Responsibilities:
(1) Report Development:
• Product knowledge training to understand financial instruments
• Understand financial reporting errors and learn the techniques on how to fix them
• Configure simple financial reports under supervision and guidance
(2) Projects:
• Work with Business Analyst and business stakeholders to review, document, test and piloting new automation solution
• Participate in project planning
• Develop analytical and organization skills
(3) System Life Support Cycle:
• Perform system checks and alerts monitoring to ensure high availability of the supported applications
• Provide application support to financial applications and perform system changes
• Manage simple user change requests and support change activities
Requirements:
• Graduated with a Bachelor Degree in 2019/2020
• Meticulous, independent and fast learner
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (advanced level)
• Basic programming skills
• Team player
Technical Skills and Competencies the trainee will learn:
• Financial product knowledge: Learn about the different types of investment instruments and industry knowledge such as trade lifecycle for investment products
• Technical skills: Working with Microsoft Excel, VBA add-ins, pivot tables, complex formulas
• Soft skills: trainee will build interpersonal skills, team work and time management
