A graduate of Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in California, Ling uses her expertise and creativity to inspire beautiful jewellery pieces with master craftsmanship.
Since its inception in 2005, Ling Jewellery has built a reputation for providing attentive service and customized designs. Our fine jewellery designs have grown to include a large collection of meticulously crafted wedding bands and engagement rings with the finest diamonds and gemstones.

Our dynamic Ling Jewellery team is on the look out for a new assistant! As we focus on personalizing customer experience at our retail boutique, we are looking for a personable and modish assistant to help us behind the scene and with our customer engagement. All our happy employees have been with us for 6 or more years and we are looking to groom new local resident hires the same way as we continue to grow. Responsibilities & Key Skill-Sets Required:
- The Ling Jewellery family is a cohesive team and we expect the new candidate to work well with our team and is good with interpersonal skills.
- It is preferable, but not necessary, to have prior experience in retail or customer service related functions. We prefer to groom candidates with the right personality and attitude. Attention to detail and willingness to work retail hours (including weekends and public holidays) are important and required.
- The new candidate will work closely with our sales team with the intention to learn our methodology of engaging and servicing our customers. This includes, but is not limited to, placing, receiving and tracking orders with our sales team, liaising with our craftsmen and following up with customers.
- Experience working with and posting on social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, etc.) is important. The new candidate will be required to maintain our social media platforms and engage customers on such platforms. We would like to know more on your experience working with and maintaining social media platforms.
- There will be a need for the candidate to maintain databases within Ling Jewellery from time to time. Proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) is important and required.
- We are open to grooming our employees to grow with us. Willingness to learn and attention to details are important as we expect the new candidate to quickly get up to speed and become an invaluable member of our team.
