Do you want to help write the next chapter of our story? We are looking for a Finance Intern - Travel Retail Global based in Singapore.

THE ROLE: 

The Finance Intern - Travel Retail Global role, based in Singapore, will be supporting the Financial Controlling Director - Global Travel Retail in his financial reporting needs while actively taking part of transformative journey by implementing new reports and analysis, while being involved in ad-hoc analysis and other transversal projects.

Focusing on Sales, Markets Data and overall Productivity, the Finance Intern – Global Travel Retail scope is rhythmed by multiple cycles as per below:

  • Monthly Sales Reporting and Analysis
  • Tri-annual Budget and Re-estimates exercises
  • Day to day tasks
  • Ad-hoc Project Management

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

MONTHLY SALES REPORTING AND ANALYSIS

  • SOSI (Sell Out – Sell In) Sales reports and analysis
  • Net Invoicing Group reports preparation and analysis
  • GTR S&OP (Sales and Operations) meeting preparation
  • Traveler Statistics Analysis via ForwardKeys Platform

BUDGET AND RE-ESTIMATE

  • Assist on the preparation of the Budget deck to enable stakeholder’s involvement
  • Participate to Hubs budget reviews
  • Convert financial data into intelligible PowerPoint illustration for general public
  • Help feeding top management with Ad Hoc analysis contributing to the budget storytelling 

DAY TO DAY

  • Develop SOSI ownership (updates, maintain and improve)
  • Analysis and use of the numerous Group reports (Inventories; Itemized analysis…)
  • Improve and document processes continuously
  • Be alert on market trends, macro and microeconomics, geopolitics etc 

AD-HOC PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Datamart and Qlik Sense reporting set up
  • Sell Out/ Sell In processes roll out in Hubs
  • DAXIUM Retail system roll out
  • Retail Cube optimization
  • Itemized Sales Report Excellence
  • Any ad-hoc projects relevant to the business

Other responsibilities may be added to the above, which are consistent with the title Finance Intern - Travel Retail Global.

YOU HAVE:

  • Business or Finance degree
  • No particular experience required but generally eager to learn and discover a fast pace business in a multi-cultural and dynamic international company
  • Basic Microsoft Excel and Power Point knowledge
  • Basic understanding of Information System
  • Eager to learn from experienced professionals (hard and soft skills)
  • High degree of responsibility, integrity and attentive to details.
  • Investigative nature
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, challenging the existing, seeking for perfection
  • People and Communication skills with an ability to adapt to different personalities
