As an intern at our Firm, you will be attached to a Partner of the firm who will guide and mentor you, and you will have the opportunity to assist the team of associates in the firm with all our ongoing matters.
Our Internship experience is designed to allow you to develop your skills as a lawyer and learn about our firm's culture. You will be exposed to work that is both interesting and challenging, and this will stretch you to discover your fullest potential.
You will be expected to go to court hearings with our lawyers, attend client meetings, engage in discussions on the law, as well as undertake research, drafting, and file management. We want you to experience the full spectrum of how intellectually challenging and exciting a career in legal practice can be, while also appreciating how to build professional relationships with clients and peers in the legal industry.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for exceptional individuals who have a passion for practicing law, who are self-driven, inquisitive, a team player, and have an attitude of excellence. As a team of dispute resolution specialists, appearing in court to make arguments is an essential part of our work, so we look for candidates who possess the requisite skillset to work alongside us.
Applicants should provide their (i) latest CV with recent photograph attached, (ii) cover letter, and (if applicable) (iii) law school transcripts. Your cover letter should highlight why you believe you would be a good fit at our firm, how your past experiences in law school or otherwise have prepared you for a career in dispute resolution, any experience in legal drafting, your elective subjects, and any other achievements or technical skills you would like to highlight to us.
We are accepting applications from current law students, as well pre-law students. Priority will be given to candidates who are able to commit for at least 6 months.
