Job Description

Overview:
In this role you will support the Assistant Director in managing the full spectrum of HR functions such as end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, policy review, performance management, budgeting and forecast. You will be working closely with the management team and will be required to understand every aspect of the people challenges in the organisation. You will be the expert in executing people-related solutions to streamline HR processes and ensure compliance to labour laws and government regulations. This will require you to think big, use data to guide your work, be comfortable in challenging conventional ways of doing things and in some cases, reinvent how work is done.


Responsibilities include:
• Assist in recruitment process, including screening resume, conducting preliminary telephone interview and interview arrangement
• Apply work passes for foreign workers including renewal and cancellation
• Prepare employment contracts and letters of appointment, confirmation and promotion
• Process employee payroll and claims
• Assist in CPF submission and preparation of tax submission and clearance
• Maintain employee database and update employee leave and entitlement records
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues
• Review and update organisation policies
• Review and configure current HR processes and strategy to boost overall productivity, increase performance and employee satisfaction
• Identify and draw on analytical tools and techniques to gather new insights, develop creative HR approaches and provide recommendations to people issues


Minimum qualifications:
• BA/BSc degree in Human Resource, Business or related discipline


Requirements:

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work within deadlines and well-organised in handling multiple on-going projects
• Strong and proven track record of managing people
• Meticulous with an eye for detail
• Eager to learn; comfortable rolling up your sleeves to understand organisation’s operations, and the next moment being part of a strategic discussion
• Display strong initiative and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
