KLASS is seeking a motivated Business Analyst Intern to help us innovate with purpose and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving market. Role Overview
As a Business Analyst Intern, you will serve as a strategic bridge between emerging technologies and our core business objectives. You will support the development of data-informed business strategies, conduct technology landscape analyses, and contribute to generating new business leads by extracting and analysing data from various data sources. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for students passionate about technology trends, problem-solving, and real-world business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of business strategy: Researching and analysing emerging technologies (e.g., AI, ML, automation) and their potential business applications.
- Market Research: Conduct technology landscape studies to identify trends, competitors, and innovation opportunities in relevant industries.
- Lead Generation: Gather, clean, analyse, and visualize data from our data sources to uncover patterns, identify potential clients, and generate actionable business leads.
- Cross Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Partnership, Engineering) to translate data insights into strategic recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvements in data collection and analysis workflows.
- Creating intelligence dashboards: Create clear, compelling reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to help the company leadership prioritize opportunities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.
- Strong interest in and ability to keep up with emerging technologies—especially AI, Machine Learning, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data (Excel, Google Sheets, or basic SQL preferred).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio) is a plus.
- Resourceful, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills—able to explain complex ideas simply.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and high attention to detail.
- Prior internship or project experience in business analysis, data collection, or tech research is advantageous but not required.
