Our client is a manufacturer of subsea, surface and offshore rig equipment for use by Oil and Gas industry.
About the role:
- Understand manufacturing challenges and assisting in the definition of problem statements, technical analysis of business problems and shaping of new technical solutions.
- Perform data engineering/science activities including data consolidation and analysis to identify underlying patterns, trends and business insights.
- Work with manufacturing engineers, production engineers, operators and managers to build different digital or visualization solutions that consume data to address various analytics needs.
- Explore new technologies in the digital or analytics space to create prototypes and demonstrate value to business.
- Communicate technical concepts and ideas in business language to stakeholders such as Product Engineers, Department Managers, IT personnel, Vendors etc.
About you:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in any Engineering / Science / Business Analytics disciplines.
- 1 to 2 years of working experience.
- Must have the drive and initiative to independently communicate and gather information
- Possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication and presentation skills.
