Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Lead Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Lead Developer, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions. If you have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for innovation, we would love to hear from you.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Take ownership of one or more systems and identify areas for improvement and opportunities for innovation.
  2. Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and software architects in project planning, solution designs, and development.
  3. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good development practices, such as test-driven development and peer reviews.
  4. Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching, mentorship, and guidance.
  5. Prepare and communicate Technical Release notes and project updates to stakeholders.
  6. Participate in the staff recruitment process for software developers, including conducting interviews and assessing technical skills.
  7. Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, solution designs, estimates, and work plans.
  8. Take ownership of and improve our automated deployment procedures by collaborating closely with the DevOps team.

Requirements

  1. A proven track record with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
  2. Strong analytical skills. Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate substantial amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  3. Self-starter with strong initiative and leadership qualities.
  4. Highly motivated, resourceful, and results-oriented team player.
  5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong written and oral communication skills.
  7. Prior experience in the higher education industry is preferred.
  8. Ability to drive large multi-functional projects.
  9. Experience using agile principles, tools, and techniques.
  10. Proficient with Node.js, PHP, Angular, and SQL.
  11. In-depth knowledge and experience with developing web applications using service-oriented frameworks, Microservices, and Rest APIs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology (Information systems) or equivalent practical experience

Other Information

Working hour ~ Monday - Friday ~ 9am - 6pm

Work Arrangements ~ Hybrid work environment 

Location ~ Singapore (Central Area – Dhoby Ghaut MRT/Little India MRT/Rochor MRT)
