Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for a full spectrum of HR functions through the development of the Human Resources, implementation of HR strategies and programmes that provides a positive and vibrant work culture in this diversified workforce.

This role will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering payroll, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices to ensure compliance.

Some key duties include:

  1. Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new employee in the department
  2. Oversees the daily HR administrative and operational works
  3. Review and draft policies & procedures to streamline the HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and ensure the company HR policies are applied consistently
  4. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations and salary reviews
  5. Analyze the trends in compensation and benefits to improve the employee retention
  6. Handles disciplinary case and termination of employees in accordance with the company policy.
  7. Training & Development for employees
  8. Handles Expatriates, AP Talents & Trainees Management
  9. Manage manpower planning matter (on-boarding, off-boarding, restructure process)
  10. Prepare periodic forecast & budget costing for Finance
  11. Lead HR scheme such as automate HR processes; digitalization and transformation to enhance the current work flow or job redesign
  12. Involves in internal control to ensure the compliance of the company policies and procedures
  13. Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by your superior from time to time.

Experience & Skill-set required:

  1. Degree in Human Resource Management field or relevant professional certificates
  2. At least 8 years’ experience in HR Generalist roles and with at least 3 years of supervisory experience
  3. Familiarize with HR practices and strong knowledge in local employment laws
  4. Well versed in HR operational work processes, fair employment practices and ensuring compliance with regulations
  5. Proficient in Microsoft office applications
  6. Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills
  7. Independent, meticulous, team player, positive work attitude
