This position is part of the DePuy Synthes Regional Supply Chain organization. We plan and manage APAC Medical Device Supply Chain operations, playing an integral role in enabling the region to manage assets more efficiently via insights generation through analytics. Ultimately, we enable J&J in delivering crucial medical devices to patients, doctors, nurses promptly and accurately.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deepen understanding of DPS supply chain and product portfolio lifecycle and translate into connected business insights.
    • Understand set operations flow, product lifecycle, product portfolio and hierarchy.
    • Uncover fresh perspectives to connected insights from supply chain and financial datasets related to revenue, profitability, and customer experience.
  2. Sustain, adapt, and design data workflow prototypes to produce analytical datasets with data from changing formats and systems.
    • Assess the reliability, completeness, and readiness of new data sources.
    • Refresh and validate existing data workflows for analytics and visuals.
    • Perform troubleshooting, simplify, and adapt new data workflow prototypes to sustain existing datasets.
    • Develop and update processes to engage stakeholders and ensure reliable supply of data not sourced from the data-lake.
    • Escalate, resolve, and track data source exceptions.
  3. Pioneer the development of desktop automation for data extraction and report distribution.
    • Explore and prototype the desktop automation of data transfer to stakeholders or into repositories via features such as scheduling, subscription, alerts, automated emailing etc.
    • Leverage available tools e.g. MS Power applications
  4. Support the maturity and adoption of datasets/visuals/connected insights via development of training and knowledge materials.
    • Document, catalogue and map current data sources, workflows, datasets, visuals and insights generated.
    • Uncover redundancies and opportunities to improve the efficiency of data processing and data source sustenance.
    • Explore and design data workflow snippets and new datasets to enrich existing datasets

Faculty / Course Preferred

Undergraduate pursuing a single or combination of majors in Computer Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations Management and Data Science.
