The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Regional Planning Team in areas of Demand/Supply Planning and S&OP maturity. One of the below topics will be assigned to the role.
(a) Demand/Supply Planning
Engage key stakeholders and support the standardization and improvement of regional CAPEX instruments planning and reporting process across business units.
Key Deliverables
Review and compare instrument planning processes between business units.
Design a standard process and implement via stakeholders engagement, feedback and prototyping.
Develop documentations of standard work / operating procedures.
Shadow the Regional Planning manager to understand and support effective sensing of demand events, through participation in country-regional handover meetings and follow-ups.
Generating and maintaining a Single Source of Truth on Instrument Supply Status
(b) Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Maturity
Support the implementation of S&OP maturity under the Process, People or Technology/Metrics pillars.
Key Deliverables
Maintain, enhance and/or develop tools (e.g. S&OP Adherence Trackers) to support implementation.
Create Standard Operation Templates (Excel/PowerPoint) for use in S&OP meetings
Develop documentations of standard work / operating procedures and processes
Shadow the Regional Planning manager to understand and support S&OP meetings
KEY MEASURES
The position will be measured primarily on:
Deliverable of the topic, i.e. project milestones achievement
Timeliness, responsiveness, clarity of communication and completeness of follow-ups
Quality and comprehensiveness of documentations.
Ability to Interact with multiple and diverse stakeholders over email and over calls and drive actions.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
Students pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree, or pursuing a Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Systems Engineering, Logistics or Mechanical Engineering.
Strong interest to grow experience in a supply chain operations environment by learning on the job and completing a project from definition to implementation.
Ability to work in a team setting and collaborate with multiple internal cross-functional stakeholders.
Self-starter, fast learner, results oriented and willing to be challenged.
Excel, Visio, PowerPoint– Need to be willing to learn fast and drive innovation and Automation.
