Overview of the Position
JMJ is looking to provide an opportunity for an individual is interested in Accounting. Working under the direction of the Head of Finance and Business Operations and Senior Accountant, the successful individual will support our businesses in Asia and Australia with a focus on ensuring that internal and external customers receive exemplary service, while ensuring financial records are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
General Responsibilities
- Perform AP function - e.g. processing of vendor invoices, approve and process employee expenses.
- Prepare BS reconciliation - e.g. AMEX reconciliation, AP reconciliation.
- Prepare AR invoices
- Provide EPICOR system support (accounting system)
- Ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed
Required Skills
- To have conducted some form of study in accounting.
- Familiar with standard financial concepts, practices, procedures.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications, Excel is essential.
- Previous knowledge/experience with Epicor Financials is a plus.
- Exercise a high level of independence, accountability, teamwork, good judgement and attention to detail.
- Possess the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Good organisational skills.
