Job Description
  • Attend to customers’ enquires
  • Conduct targeted conversations with customers to identify customer needs
  • Submit shipment booking requests to carriers
  • Negotiate charges with contractors when necessary
  • Manage the complete documentation for cargo consolidation activities, transshipment and transloading operations and specialized cargo
  • Manage the complete documentation for checks in accordance to internal SOPs, government regulatory requirements and legislations to identify non-compliance
  • Manage the complete documentation for compliance operations and/or advise clients on tariff/rate/cost/quotation requirements and eligibility
  • Perform data entry for freight services
  • Work with warehouse to coordinate cargo movements within the warehouse when required
  • Verify that warehouse documents keyed into the freight system tally with physical stocks
  • Communicate and coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence
  • Handle disputes with clients/agents, resolving complaints if any
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of interest within business activities
  • Issue accurate billing documents to the relevant stakeholders timely
  • Follow operational policies, standards and procedures

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have knowledge of shipping regulations and policies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Diploma or higher.
  • Have relevant prior experience.
