Job Description

We seek a Legal Intern to join our team at a dynamic and upcoming law firm in Singapore. Interns will have the excellent opportunity of gaining professional legal experience in the legal industry.


What You’ll do:

· Assist the Counsel with a variety of legal matters, criminal, civil, family, IP and Bankruptcy.

· Assist in preparing and reviewing standard legal contracts.

· Resolve issues pertaining to late and disputed payments.

· Get involved in all aspects of law, policy, regulation relating to Singapore law.

· Attend court trials, hearings and pre-trial conferences.


What You’ll Need:

· An enrollment in a law school.

  • Those with multiple degrees will have an advantage.
  • Mature students will also be considered.
  • Candidates who are able to work multiple semesters are highly preferred.

· An interest in practicing law in Singapore.

· Some experience working in an office environment.

· A good head on your shoulders and a good sense of humor.

  • Pls indicate if you are a scholar

· Strong research and analytical skills.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills – ability to speak English (not Singlish) clearly, and write clearly and effectively in English.

  • Able to correct other’s English errors.
  • Tailors language, tone, style and format to match the audience.
  • Demonstrates openness in sharing information and keeping people informed.

· Some ability with time management skills – esp ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, or communicate issues with meeting deadlines.

· Very strong computer and Internet skills – Deep understanding of Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat; ability to master tools used by the legal industry.

· To be professional at all times, serious about their work and willing to learn.

· To work at least 30 hours per week.
