As the Events & Ecosystem Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end organisation of virtual, hybrid and in-person B2B events within IoT Tribe's ecosystem as well as the management of community relations with our network of stakeholders, comprising corporates, public agencies, investors and startups, among others. • To actively partake in virtual and in-person activities to drive the growth of our community
  • To work with our marketing team and promote the events organised

What You Can Achieve

  • You will make full use of opportunities presented to familiarise and actively participate in the end-to-end events organisation process, including but not restricted to: planning, content curation, logistics management, and community management process
  • You will learn to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders and to do so professionally
  • You will build valuable relationships with senior industry stakeholders in the technology space and startup ecosystem, from corporates, public agencies, investors, startups and community partners
  • You will gain in-depth exposure to the know-hows needed to build and foster a collaborative ecosystem within and across technology spaces

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior experience in events planning is not required, but beneficial
  • The ideal candidate should be undertaking or have attained a Bachelor's Degree, or an educational qualification at an equal or higher level
  • Minimally, applicants should be capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, and be able to multi-task while demonstrating attention to detail
  • Applicants should optimally possess great research skills and showcase ability to distill market trends into event topics
  • Applicants with familiarity in the technology space and startup ecosystem in Asia and Europe will be preferred
  • Applicants who are tech savvy and have a good grasp of best-in-class communication and collaboration tools will also ave an advantage during the shortlisting process
  • Applicants should be a firm believer that women can play valuable roles in technology and – regardless of your gender – strive to ensure fair participation of women in IoT Tribe's activities as founders, mentors, investors, among others
