Invigilo AI is an intelligent workplace safety and productivity monitoring platform. Using existing cameras installed at sites, video streams are converted into actionable insights.
We work with leading agencies such as HDB Singapore, LTA Singapore, and other big names in order to enforce and enhance safety in high risk worksites. On top of this, Invigilo also has partnerships with leading companies such as SAP, AWS and NVIDIA to create powerful technologies for worksite intelligence.
We are looking for a backend engineer who is willing to work closely with the engineering team to develop and deploy exciting new features into untapped markets.
Responsibilities
Communicate regularly with stakeholders and fellow engineers to understand and break down the user requirements into modular tasks
Develop and deploy Web Services, APIs, Servers
Produce quality code which translates to shorter development cycles with less bugs
Develop automated tests
Participate in delivering implementation with DevOps, monitoring and automation tools (E.g. Azure, GCP, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Jira, etc)
Maintain and develop CI/CD tools to streamline development and deployment
Preferred skills and qualifications
Strong foundation in computer science, algorithms, and web design
Experience in writing highly secure web applications. Experience in building RESTful APIs/Web application
Experience with core AWS web-enabling technologies
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Experience in setting up and configuring DevOps pipelines to ensure CI/CD
Experience working with Relational Databases and associated ORMs in a Backend Framework
Good to have experience in FastAPI framework
Bonus to have working knowledge of frontend frameworks
