Role Overview
As a Junior Forward Deployment & Support Engineer at Invigilo, you will support day-to-day customer operations and deployments, ensuring systems remain stable, responsive, and well-supported. This is an entry-to-early-career role ideal for someone technically curious, reliable, and eager to learn while working closely with real customers and production systems.
You will handle customer requests, monitor system health, assist with deployments, and work closely with senior engineers to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Communication
- Respond to customer support emails and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Track, manage, and follow up on customer issues and requests
- Escalate technical issues clearly to senior engineers when needed
System Monitoring & Operations
- Monitor servers, services, and deployments to ensure systems are up and running
- Perform basic checks on system health, logs, and alerts
- Help identify and report anomalies or recurring issues
Deployment & Technical Support
- Assist with onboarding and deployment tasks under guidance from senior team members
- Support configuration checks and basic validation of deployments
- Help document deployment steps, issues, and resolutions
Internal Coordination
- Work with engineering, customer success, and field teams to ensure smooth issue resolution
- Maintain internal trackers, checklists, and support documentation
- Contribute to improving support processes and response times
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have
- 0–2 years experience in a technical support, IT, or operations role (or strong fresh graduate)
- Basic understanding of systems, networks, or software (Linux familiarity is a plus)
- Clear written communication skills (email, ticket updates, customer replies)
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Willingness to learn and ask questions
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to SaaS, cloud systems, or on-prem servers
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, logs, or basic troubleshooting
- Interest in AI, video systems, or industrial technology
- Experience using ticketing or helpdesk tools
