AutoveX is a Singapore-based AI Robotics autonomous operations company developing and deploying Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) solutions and our proprietary platform. Rather than treating a robot as a standalone product, we combine robots, software and systems integration to automate complete operational workflows across hospitals, schools, hotels, commercial properties and other managed facilities.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and curious Robotics Deployment Intern to support our team in deploying, testing and maintaining robotics solutions. Working alongside our deployment and engineering teams, you will gain practical experience with mobile robots, building system integrations and customer support. This is a learning-focused role, with technical guidance and supervision provided by the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deployment support: Assist with robot setup, mapping, navigation checks and workflow configuration at customer sites.

• Testing and integration: Help conduct system tests and user acceptance testing (UAT), including checks on robot integrations with lifts, automatic doors and other building systems.

• Technical support: Assist with basic troubleshooting, collect system logs and record issues for review by the engineering team.

• Maintenance support: Help perform routine inspections, system health checks and approved software or firmware updates under supervision.

• Documentation: Maintain deployment checklists, test results, equipment records and service documentation.

• Customer support: Assist the team with user demonstrations, training materials and system handover activities.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.

• Interest in robotics, automation and practical engineering work.

• Willingness to learn, follow instructions and approach problems systematically.

• Good communication skills, attention to detail and a collaborative attitude.

• Willingness to visit customer sites across Singapore with the deployment team.

Good to Have

• Exposure to robotics, automation or IoT through coursework, personal projects or competitions.

• Familiarity with Linux, ROS/ROS2, REST APIs or MQTT.

• Basic Python or C++ programming skills.

• Experience assembling, testing or troubleshooting hardware.
