About the role
Our growing team requires a self-motivated Data and Marketing Analyst Intern to assist the team with all aspects of data collation and marketing in the investment process, from the initial screening of investments using our proprietary data-driven approach to due diligence on investment opportunities including industry analysis, financial modelling and product assessment to investor reporting.
To help us compare the best startups opportunities and help us build the best tools to help select the best startups to invest in.
A thorough attention to detail will be required in all aspects of the role as well as an ability to communicate appropriately with all stakeholders.
Working within a small team, there will be significant opportunities to learn and develop skills and become engrained in the venture capital ecosystem within Australia.

Skills and experience
- Ideally a Graduate, independent, likes problem solving and a high initiator
- Strong Market research capabilities
- Passionate about data and love extracting useful insights from large data sets
- Is interested in learning about start-ups and raising capital process
- Familiar with the Internet and digital media ecosystems as businesses and evolving platforms, either from work experience or personal interest.
- Passionate about technology and digital innovation.
- Ability to work well independently and proactively seek advice for clarification
- Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as being comfortable communicating directly with the Asia and Australian teams.
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to work independently under the guidance and supervision of Investment manager and General Manager. You will get first hand experience of how an early stage angel investment club functions and assessing lots of different business models. Interns will be exposed to the wide range of start up work across the Asia ecosystem alongside the Asia team.
This includes (but not limited to):
- Comparison of Global startup data
- Reviewing Startup pitch decks
- Preparing data investment due diligence packs for investment team
- Marketing to startups and investors to join events
- Infographics to represent the data
- Attend pitch competitions across Asia and report on startups
- Help organise and run events across Asia
- Learn the latest trend across various verticals
Internship allowance per month: $500
