Job Description

About the role

Reporting to the Group Head of HR, you will act as a central support node to the HR function not just here in Singapore but to the region (Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia). You will be an active contributor in a wide range of HR activities. This will involve providing support on day to day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, culture, employer branding, HR reporting, etc. You will also get a chance to participate in a host of HR projects. This is a great opportunity for both undergraduates and graduates who are keen to explore a career in HR.

 Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment and selection activities for both Singapore and regional teams, including but not limited to sourcing, screening, and interview scheduling, and offer preparation
  • Handle onboarding, offboarding and transfer administration for all people movements (e.g. new hires, promotions, transfers, re-designation, resignations/terminations etc
  • Support new joiners’ onboarding and offboarding process, including collating staff movement announcements, planning and executing teams orientation and other engagement programs such as office welcome tour, interns community program
  • Coordinates office facilities contracts and related operations
  • Monitor, upkeep and ensure security and accuracy of employees' records and documents in HRIS
  • Maintain and update employee handbook, guidelines, policies and process flows.
  • Process employee requests for information and related employment visas, permits, and regulatory applications
  • Generate and analyse HR reports to improve efficiency and effectiveness of people decisions
  • Participate and contribute towards implementation of regional HR projects, strategies and initiatives.
  • Execute Employer Branding initiatives to build a powerful B2B brand presence that attracts top of funnel candidates
  • Assist in implementing Performance Management process for regional countries
  • Facilitate setup of Employee Engagement activities, including but not limited to Company and Country Townhalls, games nights, AMAs etc
  • Partake in research and development of Culture building initiatives, as well as learning and development opportunities for employees
  • Assist in streamlining current HR processes
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

 

Who we look for – the ideal profile:

  • Able to commit to a 6 months internship period. Open to both undergraduates and fresh graduates with under 3 years of working experience
  • Highly motivated, nimble and takes initiative to take up new challenges
  • Self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Passion to create an inclusive, high performance and fun work culture
  • Resourceful team player who is confident to bring ideas to the table
  • Detailed-oriented with strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Proficient in MS Office 365 and MS office suite, as well as Google Suite
  • Tech-savvy and interested in finding more about different technologies we can use. Knowledge or experience building a website, with or without HTML experience, or curating social media content would be a plus
  • Must be degree qualified, preferably with a specialisation in Human Resources or Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Organisational Behaviour) etc
  • Knowledge of employment laws, e.g. Employment Act, Work Injury Compensation Act, etc is an advantage
  • Able to start work immediately or with short notice is an advantage
