We’re Ink An Epic — a startup that transforms classic literature into graphic novels for young readers. We’re looking for a creative and technically strong student web designer/developer to help us build a clean, modern website similar in style and layout to the attached reference. 

Job Description

Project Scope:

  • Build a responsive, well-structured website with up to 10 pages

  • Match the aesthetic of the reference site: clean layout, playful typography, strong visual storytelling

  • Pages: Homepage, Library, How It Works, Shop, About, and Contact

  • Include working navigation, mock-up product gallery, simple animations/transitions, and mobile responsiveness

  • Platform: Flexible - any platform that allows us to host, maintain and make changes in the future

Ideal Candidate:

  • A current university or polytechnic student studying design, communications, computer science, or related field

  • Has experience building modern, visually appealing websites (bonus if you’ve worked with creative portfolios or product showcases)

  • Familiar with design principles, layout, mobile-first design, and user flow

  • Able to work independently and iterate quickly with feedback

  • Strong eye for visuals and storytelling through layout

Deliverables:

  • Live working website with up to 10 pages

  • Editable file access (admin login)

  • Final delivery within 4 weeks

  • 3 rounds of feedback incorporated
