Industry Platform Pte Ltd – Energy Research Intern

To combat climate change, the world must rapidly reduce its dependency on fossil fuels to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We believe that nuclear energy should be part of the equation, not only to address climate change and achieving Net Zero but for countries to achieve energy independence and drive economic developments.

For close to a decade the firm has been actively engaging with multilateral bodies, government stakeholders and international supplier to push forth nuclear energy developments in East Asia, Southeast Asia, India and Africa. 

The Global Civil Nuclear division of Industry Platform is looking to recruit up to six (6) Energy Research Interns to carry out both primary and secondary research on the energy developments, with a focus on nuclear energy, in 6 key global regions - Africa, India, East Asia, Latin America, Central & Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing a proficient level of understanding and knowledge of the region's energy sector
• Creating and curating original market reports and content for both primary and secondary stakeholders
• Organically grow primary and secondary stakeholders of the region
• Attend online meetings to increase subject knowledge
• Support selected administrative tasks, including the organizing of virtual meetings

A background in nuclear energy is not required. Strong written and oral command of the English language is essential. Secondary languages are desirable especially Mandarin, French, Spanish, Arabic.

This role reports directly to the Managing Director. This internship will be for a minimum of 3 months with a possibility for extension and/or conversion to a full-time position.
