(Location: Singapore)

Established in Singapore in the early 1980s, IMS Health Singapore has one of the most comprehensive offering portfolios in the region. We provide pharmaceutical data, strategy consulting services, advanced analytics and technology. We are dedicated to advance global healthcare as we cover the life sciences sector, focusing on prescription pharmaceuticals, and are broadening our offerings to consumer health, provider and public policy.

Real-World Evidence and HEOR

IMS Health offers the most advanced capabilities in Real-World Evidence (RWE) management and analysis, leveraging relevant IMS Health proprietary and other key external, third-party data assets in real-world clinical practice. We are supported by a multi-disciplinary team of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) experts, based in 18 countries worldwide, with our APAC team based in Singapore.

  • Real-World Evidence Solutions

IMS Health provides patient-level data generated outside a controlled clinical study about a patient or treatment consisting of electronic medical records, claims, patient surveys and observational studies.

  • Health Economics and Outcomes Outreach (HEOR)

IMS Health quantifies the economic and clinical outcomes of medical technology to fully understand product value and potential. This includes the combination of scientific methodologies, deep therapy area knowledge and a pragmatic understanding of the market, to generate evidence to demonstrate real-world value of treatments.

The Internship Programme

The internship programme is the best opportunity to explore management consulting within the life-science space. The typical duration and timing is 8 to 12 weeks, though in some cases, there may be opportunities to intern for fewer weeks this is dependent on the office and the availability of the intern). In most cases, interns are assigned to one real-world consulting project for the duration of the internship, where they have little or no previous experience.

The interns receive support from a Project Manager and/ or a coach who will outline the interns’ responsibilities and provide mentorship and guidance along the way. At the end of the internship, interns who have met performance expectations will be considered to return fulltime once they have graduated from university. As important, the interns can make a more informed decision in regards to pursuing management consulting in the long term.
