We are a team of Venture Builders with a passion for operations and helping world-class startups expand into select Asian markets. We’ve launched companies like Airbnb, WeWork, Google, Uber, Carousell, Snapask, Homage etc. into new markets across Asia, and we have our own offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Seoul. Our mission is to help startups demystify what the international expansion opportunity means for their growth.
What you’ll be responsible for
We don’t see our interns any differently from one of us. If you’re up for it, lead presentations, craft strategies, take on sales pitches - the sky’s the limit. But to be more concrete, our past interns have worked with us on:
- Market research and analysis for portfolio companies - competitor analysis, investment due diligence, user research, basic financial modelling etc.
- Developing market entry strategies for our startups with opportunities to see these strategies through to operations in-market
- Assisting in growing top-of-funnel leads of startups looking for market expansion
- Other ad-hoc engagements and projects - we’re a small team with dynamic responsibilities!
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for candidates who are passionate about startups and scaling up hyper-growth companies - hustlers who yearn to create real impact and get the most out of their internship experience.
- Preferred work experience in startups, management consulting firms, private equity or venture capital focused on research or business operations and strategy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - ability to communicate confidently in English is a must, additional language skills are a bonus
- Excels in a multilingual and multicultural work environment
