Job Description
About the role
Join our Singapore team to support the finance backbone of a farm-to-factory natural ingredients business (lemon myrtle leaves, tea, and essential oil). You’ll learn cost accounting for agri/food, inventory valuation, and commercial finance across AU * SG operations.
What you’ll do
- Assist AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end close (accruals, prepayments).
- Build SKU-level cost & margin models (leaves vs tea vs essential oil), update standard costs/BOMs.
- Maintain inventory valuation (raw → WIP → finished goods), stocktakes, and variance analysis.
- Prepare weekly cashflow (13-week) and budget vs actual dashboards.
- Support grant/claim packs (e.g., internship funding claims), vendor master and PO discipline.
- Help compile export costing (freight, duties/HS codes), and FX exposure tracking.
What you’ll learn
- Costing for agri/food production, COGM/COGS, inventory policies.
- Practical FP&A: margin waterfalls, pricing, and sensitivity analysis.
- Tools: Excel/Google Sheets (pivot, lookup)
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business.
- Solid Excel; comfort with numbers and attention to detail.
- Bonus: Xero
- Full-time availability (≥35 hrs/week) for 3–12 months.
