Job Description

As our Strategy and Operations Intern, you tackle the challenges of building a robust operational system to support our hypergrowth. You will gain an inside perspective on internet ventures and will be given the opportunity to build up deep operational expertise. You will be placed in a team of very motivated and talented A-players who are driving our business forward. Our Strategy and Operations internship is a unique opportunity to learn, experience and join a first-class team.

At Helpling, no two days are the same. The following tasks will be part of your new role:

1. You work on creating and refining operational processes in various aspects of the Helpling business in Singapore, exposing yourself to key aspects of the business - mainly Operations, Customer Service & Business Intelligence

2. You analyze and optimize existing business workflows, acting as a consultant to the management in process improvement projects 

3. You roll-out strategic business initiatives and provide data analysis and insight for management decision-making

 

The Ideal Strategy and Operations Intern:

1. Possesses critical and flexible thinking skills and is able to apply such skills to day-to-day situations

2. Takes initiative to come up with a solution to discuss with the team instead of waiting for others to speak up first 

3. Is not afraid of making mistakes and learning from them (if you do not make any mistakes, you are not learning anything)
