Hellowork Pte Ltd – Freelancer – Press Reader and Translator (Malay / Chinese)

Hellowork is a manpower, event and services company. We provide one-stop service solutions ranging from helping our clients to source for suitable candidates, payroll management, etc. 

We are looking for committed and passionate freelance press reader-cum-translators to join the team!

Scope: 

• Reading through articles that have prospected (or matched) a client’s brief and determining its relevance
• Translate and summarise articles and headlines into English-written summaries in a specific format.

Requirements: 

• Prior experience in freelance translation and press relevance work
• Attention to detail and some basic understanding of technical keyword terms and interpretation (briefing will be provided)
• Good command of vernacular Chinese/ Malay/ English is required to perform the translation.
• Able to commit long-term will be preferred

Weekday and weekend (morning & afternoon) slots are available, and usually up to 2 hours per assigned slot,

- Weekdays: 7:30 am - 8:45 am and 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm

- Weekends: 11:45 am - 1:00 pm

Freelancers can work from home using their own laptop devices.
