Hawksburn Capital Pte. Ltd. is an independent asset management and advisory firm founded in 2011 and based in Singapore. The company is co-managed by Mathieu Harding and Jerry Yeu, specialising in Asian investment markets while providing global investment and wealth preservation solutions. The partners of the business have both had broad investment experience providing solutions to Institutional investors, Family Offices and High Net Worth Individuals. Matt and Jerry previously worked together for almost five years in the Family Office of the Eric Smorgon Family, based at the corner of Hawksburn Village in Melbourne, Australia.
The Role
The Research analyst will work closely with Senior Investment team members to provide insightful Investment research and analysis across multiple asset classes.
You will prepare investment specific analysis and reports for the internal Investment Team as well as the Investment Committee.
The successful candidate will have an opportunity to both develop and sharpen their existing skills, while seeing tangible results for their contributions.
The Person
We are looking for a self-starter who has natural curiosity and a passion for global investment markets. Financial markets knowledge and experience is an advantage, it is not a pre-requisite.
Strong English writing and verbal communication skills are mandatory for this role, and having previous journalistic experience is a strong advantage.
It would be an advantage but is not essential to have completed or be on the way to completing your CFA.
You must have the ability to combine being self-motivated and working autonomously while being part of a small close knit team.
