Research Intern (Full-time)

Job Description

Haemetrics Pte. Ltd. is looking to hire a full-time intern to contribute to the design and development of immunoassays for its point-of-care diagnostic platform. This will be an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to expand their research and analytical skills in a start-up lab setting.

 

Key Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and optimization of immunoassays for our diagnostic platform.
  • Work both independently and in collaboration with the rest of the team
  • Provide scientific inputs, perform quantitative/qualitative analysis under the supervision of the co-founders.
  • Design and execute experiments independently, troubleshoot, analyse data, interpret results, and keep a detailed record of laboratory activities.

 

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma or equivalent in biology, immunology, biochemistry, biomedical sciences, or related field
  • Knowledge of ELISA with fluency in other biomarker detection methodologies will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to design, development, and optimize immunoassays.
  • Minimum 1-year relevant experience in immunoassays preferred. Fresh grads may also apply.
  • Knowledge about GLP, GMP, QMS, laboratory safety procedures, risk assessment, and waste management.
  • Be a hands-on wet lab person who welcomes challenges, works independently or as part of a team, and can communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent presentation skills and knowledge to work with essential computer tools and analytical instrument software.
  • Strong interest in working in an entrepreneurial environment.
