Job Description

Customer Support Intern

We are looking for interns who have the hunger to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.  Are you a people-oriented person? Do you like to go the extra mile to people?  If you think you can easily build rapport with merchants and customers, answer questions on our product and services, troubleshoot or suggest alternative solutions, we want YOU!  


Your go-Getting Mission

As part of the team working on a new lifestyle / travel-centric app, you will be involved in setting up customer and merchant support procedures, handling customers enquiries with the app, and helping merchants come onboard our platform.

Job Requirements:

  1. Must be comfortable with managing customers via Live Chat, Emails and Phone calls 
  2. Handle enquiries, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
  3. Able to determine the cause of the problem, select and explain the best solution to solve the problem; expedite correction or adjustment, and follow up to ensure resolution
  4. Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  5. Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  6. Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  7. Meet individual & team service targets and call handling quotas
  8. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  9. Recommend potential resolutions to management by collecting customer information and analysing customer needs

The Pre-Requisites

  1. Background in tourism studies, sales & marketing, marketing, mass communications, or related fields are welcome
  2. Prior relevant working experience in call centre / customer service / sales support / front desk / tele-sales / tele-service / retail environment is good to have (but not mandatory)
  3. Committed to shift work from home using your personal laptop over weekends / Public Holidays when required (rotational basis)
  4. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Gmail, Internet navigation
  5. Familiar with lifestyle / shopping apps, those who frequently use such apps is a PLUS!


We are looking for someone who:

  1. Is a keen learner, a team player, a good listener.
  2. Loves going the extra mile to engage customers
  3. Is self-motivated team player with a strong sense of responsibility
  4. Is able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  5. Has excellent interpersonal skills, and able to communicate well with various levels of people in an organization
  6. Has language proficiency in English and Mandarin (advantageous to know Bahasa Indonesian / Melayu)
