GME Chemicals (S) Pte Ltd – Customer Service Officer

GME Chemicals (Singapore) is a leading distributor of specialty chemicals and polymers. We have sales offices all over Asia, offering products to industrial markets such as petrochemicals, building and construction, coating, water treatment, food and pharmaceuticals.

Job Description

• 1) Liaising with customer on their forecasted requirements and required deliveries
• 2) Processing customer orders and generating delivery documents
• 3) Liaising with our logistics team to arrange the deliveries to customers
• 4) Investigating and resolving customer issues on delivery, product quality, delivery documents, etc
• 5) Maintaining records of our sales, inventory, accounts receivables, etc.
• 6) Material planning and purchase processing in coordination with Sales
• 7) Following up with suppliers and logistics on orders and shipments, handling import documents and communicating with relevant parties if any issues

Requirements

• 1) A minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar position, a plus if in chemical industry
• 2) Working knowledge of ERP/SAP and Microsoft Office
• 3) Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications
• 4) Attention to detail and good coordination skills to ensure high level of customer service
• 5) Enthusiastic and self-motivated
