Geniq Pte Ltd – Software Developer

Responsibilities:

1. Application development, analysis and design.
2. Write design / interface document.
3. Ensure timely delivery of assigned work.
4. Maintain existing software/products.
5. Able to work independently, proposing viable technical solutions through self-study and in-depth understanding of existing code base.

 Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
2. Candidates must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

1. At least 2 years working experience in development, design and implementation.
2. Good knowledge and hands-on experience in Java, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB
3. Web Framework development: Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap, etc
4. Solid background in software development on Tomcat, Apache, Linux platforms.
5. Aptitude for learning and applying new technologies.
6. Good communication skill and excellent team player.
7. Familiarity with mobile messaging (SMS, Push Notification), Mobile Network Operator protocols (e.g. SMPP, HLR, SS7) would be a plus.
