GED SPORTS Pte Ltd wholly owns SG Floorball Open, which is the biggest Floorball tournament in Asia today. It’s aim is to become the biggest in the world. The SG Floorball Open have the following segments:

1.       SG Open Invitational (28 - 30 June 2019)

This is an exclusive tournament for national teams in Asia to play against a top team from Sweden, IBK DALEN. The Elite Men and Women teams from IBK DALEN are currently playing in the Swedish Super League, the highest league in the league system of Swedish floorball. 

2.          SG Open III (20 - 23 June 2019), SG Open III YOUTH (26-28 June 2019)

We are pleased to organise our third annual SG Open again this year from 20 - 23 June 2019. This popular annual Floorball tournament has grown tremendously year by year. We are expecting more teams in 2019, both local and overseas clubs. Many international teams have signed up and four of them are from Europe. They are the IBK DALEN Men and Women teams, Hammarby Junior girls team as well as Pixbo Women team. 

We will introduce SG Open YOUTH with the age categories -14 and -16.

SG Floorball Open has become a key event that many local, regional and now global Floorball clubs look forward to every year. We feel that SG Open is paramount to continue, improve and encourage the growth of Floorball in Singapore on all levels. 

3. Summer Camp (7 - 14 June 2019), Coaching Course by Switzerland’s National Team Head Coach, David Jansson (28 May - 30 May / 5 - 7 June 2019) and Referee Clinic (18-19 June 2019)

This year, we have added a Summer Camp to our Floorball calendar, in response to the feedback from many schools and clubs, as a school holiday programme. This 7-day camp is led by world renowned top-ranked coach, Mr David Jansson, who is currently the Switzerland National Team Head Coach. Mr Jansson will be the Head Coach and Director of Coaching for the Summer Camp. He has designed the curriculum to suit the specific needs of Singaporean and Asian players. He will be assisted by specialised instructors for each specific skill position at the Summer Camp. 

• Jon Hedlund (Goalkeeper Instructor) – Pixbo Wallenstam and Sweden National team  
• Tobias Gustafsson (Defender Instructor) – Storvreta FC and Swedish National team  
• Valdemar Ahlroth (Offensive Quality Control Instructor) – Storvreta FC  
• Gustav Fritzell (Forward Instructor) – Pixbo Wallenstam and Swedish National Team 
• Niklas Ramirez (Defensive Quality Control Instructor) – Vaxjo Vipers and Swedish National Team 

The coaching course, held from 7 - 9 June May (Track 1) and 5-7 June (Track 2) of 2019 is also conducted by Mr Jansson.

• Each track will be conducted in a similar manner. However, Track 1 will be exclusive as it requires practical execution
• Track 2 includes theoretical talks and film study (no practical court time)

Our Referee Clinic from 18 - 19 June 2019 will be conducted by 3 top-class Swedish referee pairs, who will also be refereeing at our SG Open and Invitational games. They will also video, coach and help local and Asian referees during the SG Open and Invitational. 

4. SG Open Sports Conference  (31 May -2 June)

The Sports Conference will consist of two main team sports, Floorball and Football (to be launched next year). The focused themes for the team sports are sports development, leadership and philosophy.

The other segments for individual athletes, teams and for any health conscious citizen are:

• Fitness
• Movement,
• Mindset 
• Nutrition
• Health 

The goal is to make the Sports Conference similar to the technology and finance conference, Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference. We wish to become an asian creative sport lab that gives direct as well as indirect knowledge and inspiration from the seminars, clinics and talks.
