ABOUT THE ROLE

GCB Cocoa Singapore is looking for a motivated intern to support the development and enhancement of our internal Hedge Record Portal. You will work closely with our Derivatives Trading and Risk team to understand business requirements and translate them into functional, scalable features.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and enhance features on the Hedge Record Portal using TypeScript / JavaScript
  • Design and implement UI components for data entry, reporting, and trade visualisation
  • Support data validation and reconciliation of hedging records 
  • Document technical specifications and user guides Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and bug fixing

REQUIREMENTS

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Financial Engineering & Quantitative Finance.
  • Proficient in TypeScript and/or JavaScript or SQL
  • Basic understanding of quantitative finance concepts (hedging, derivatives, commodities)
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
  • Knows how to leverage AI tools to increase productivity and development efficiency
