Job Description

Galactic Sports and Media is a dynamic and fast-growing sports media and event management company dedicated to delivering top-tier sporting experiences and content to sports enthusiasts worldwide. We pride ourselves on our passion for sports and our commitment to excellence. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Events Sponsorship Sales Executive to join our team and play a vital role in securing strategic partnerships for our sports events and initiatives.

 

As the Sponsorship Sales Executive at Galactic Sports and Media, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing partnerships and sponsorships that align with our brand and business goals. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including marketing, event management, and business development teams, to maximize the value of sponsorships and create win-win opportunities for our partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sponsorship Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sponsorship strategy to attract and retain sponsors for our sports events and media initiatives.

• Sponsorship Sales: Identify and target potential sponsors, including corporations, brands, and other organizations, that align with our target audience and values.

• Proposal Development: Create compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations that outline the benefits of partnering with us, including branding opportunities, audience reach, and ROI.

• Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate sponsorship agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions. Oversee contract execution and fulfilment.

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, serving as the main point of contact and ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

• Activation Planning: Collaborate with sponsors to develop and execute activation plans that maximize their visibility and engagement during events and media campaigns.

• Budget Management: Manage the sponsorship budget effectively, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial targets.

• Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and analyse the impact and success of sponsorship initiatives, providing regular reports to stakeholders and sponsors.

• Compliance and Legal: Ensure all sponsorship agreements comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business or any related field.

• Preferably having sponsorship sales and management experiences, especially in the sports or entertainment industry.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Excellent relationship-building abilities and a track record of successful partnerships.

• Strategic thinking and the ability to align sponsorships with business objectives.

• Creativity in developing innovative sponsorship activation ideas.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the sports media and event management industry.
