Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the team to expand on the team’s quantitative framework, driven by machine learning techniques
- Specific attention to stock selection in equities using supervised (LightGBM/XGBoost), unsupervised learning or NLP.
- Develop framework from ground up, involving data gathering, data ingestion and feature engineering.
- Aim to deliver comprehensive final output involving back-testing, signal generation and visualization of results.
Experience and Skills
- Excellent skills in Python Programming, Data Visualization in plotly, Machine Learning Toolkits, including scikit learn, LightGBM, and SHAP.
- Experiences in sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and word embedding will be preferred.
- Strong ability to articulate data science output to a non-specialist audience.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
