Friz – Growth Hacking Intern

Friz (www.usefriz.com) is an exciting early-stage startup dedicated to providing financial freedom to independent creators across South East Asia. We are backed by Y Combinator, 500 Southeast Asia, Iterative VC, and 500 TukTuks, prominent angel investors and is part of the Y Combinator Winter 2021 Batch.

We are looking for a passionate self-starter interested in being a part of an exciting, fast-growing startup in the finance industry. You will be tasked with growing our customer base using both paid and SEO techniques, improving our page ranking and building our content.

Some of the key areas of focus for this role will include: researching keywords, increasing current position and ranking of new pages through white-hat SEO tactics, content ideation, and extensive link building. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for understanding the customer’s intent and ‘hacking’ the Google search’s algorithm.

Role:

• 1. Optimizing existing content and site structure to increase organic rankings and traffic
• 2. Researching for potential keywords based on the current traffic searches 
• 3. Develop new content to target high volume queries that are not currently being targeted
• 4. Improve internal linking structures to maximize the flow of pagerank throughout the site
• 5. Research customer segments and provide targeting strategies to drive leads from paid channels
• 6. Analyse the traffic data using Google Analytics and share insights and ideas to increase conversions 
• 7. Be creative and help create content that could target potential customers using paid display campaigns 
• 8. Outreach for Link-building
