FoodRazor helps restaurants worldwide on their digital transformation journey. We support their back office operations by digitizing their vendor invoices, providing detailed food cost insights, and streamlining their food ordering. FoodRazor serves hundreds of SME restaurants worldwide, helping them save hours of inefficient time every month, provide greater control of the business to owners, and help improve precious margins.
As FoodRazor delves deeper into the data insights that we might be able to provide customers, we are looking for someone to help us understand the data we currently have, what kind of questions we can ask of it that may be valuable, and to produce actionable insights for restaurants.
You will have some technical command of data analysis, but more importantly you will be able to carefully put yourself in the shoes of restaurant owners and managers to try and understand what kind of insights would be most valuable.
Manage, clean, and “massage” our database.
Create proposals for automated insights to customers.
Create customized reports, white paper, or other material based on FoodRazor data.
Advise on improvements for database structure and data collection
Help develop data strategy together with the CEO and the team.
Demonstrable competence in data analytics. Experience with R/Python/Stata preferred. Some familiarity with SQL preferred.
Market research skills to complement our data.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. We want to be able to get people excited about the insights we are giving them.
A creative mind to think two steps ahead, able to visualize not only what can be done with what is there, but also to identify what is missing and how we can get it.
Experience in F&B an added plus.
