CardUp Pte Ltd – Operations Intern

CardUp is a credit card enablement platform, which enables the payment or collection of big expenses using credit card, in places where cards are not accepted today. 

This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to join on a 6-month finance and operations internship. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will primarily focus on financial/business analysis, processing monitoring as well as market research and insights across all of CardUp’s markets. The role can be based in either Singapore or Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with CardUp’s Operations team to provide insights about our business and customers through analysis of large data sets.
• Establish reporting to help track operational items such as daily payment processing and client pricing.
• Support with market research and insights to the broader CardUp team.
• Provide ad hoc support with customer servicing, company administration and presentations.

Requirements

• We are looking for a proactive individual with an ability to problem solve and an ability to distil complex, raw data and extract clear, commercially-valuable insights.
• Experience in data manipulation, presentation and understanding of basic financial analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time and prioritise work in order to stick to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication skills and personal qualities of integrity, credibility and quality.
• Strong command of the English language (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of SQL or similar is highly meriting.
