Job Description

FoodRazor is currently looking for commercial strategy and/or operations interns to help grow our presence and user base. Please read the description below. 

Commercial Strategy and Operations Intern 

Job summary: 

FoodRazor is looking for proactive hustlers who can help grow our business towards its Series A goal. Our interns will create and execute new commercial and/or digital strategies to grow our business and user base, engaging with current and future customers actively so we can better understand and cater to their needs. In this role, you will also be supporting the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to find ways to innovate and streamline operations. There will also be the possibility of helping top management with strategic projects, such as planning for new market entry or fundraising. This role is ideal for anyone wanting to get a 360 experience of how a small tech startup works, while at the same time supporting SMEs in Singapore to develop in their digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to assess market opportunities across markets
  • Analyse competitive landscape and conduct price and product benchmarking to inform decision-making on competitive positioning and go-to-market strategy
  • Identify, develop and implement strategic growth initiatives that have a direct impact on accelerating business growth across markets
  • Support execution of launch plan across markets to ensure timely delivery of outcomes, with the opportunity to lead end-to-end execution of specific workstreams
  • Deliver data-driven insights and propose recommended actions that would lead to improved performance on key business metrics

Requirements:

  • Look, we are a small team, so whatever you can bring to the table we can probably find a use for it - make sure you show us what that is! Our interns definitely learn a lot from us and the experience, but we also expect to learn from them. We want someone who is curious, who can come up with a plan and roll with it, who can ask for help when they're stuck, who is humble yet hungry.
  • It is helpful if you have previous experience in F&B, but not required - you have to start somewhere!
