Job Description

Flyta Records is looking for a digital marketing and promotions intern to be part of our new team. You will be responsible for helping implement digital strategy and promotions for Flyta’s upcoming releases, including the next single recently premiered at Looptopia & Creamfields (Sam Feldt & Trouze feat. Derrick Hoh - 情非得已 2018). We are looking for an individual who wants to take social and digital marketing to new levels of measurability, effectiveness and profitability.


Responsibilities

·        Position is partially remote and part-time (2 days  (16 hours)/week) with potential to transition into a full-time role

·        Collaborate with the marketing staff on artist, album and single launch plans

·        Maintain marketing tools (CDs, videos, photos, jpegs) and manage distributing to internal and external parties as needed

·        Assist manager in building and executing digital marketing strategies for clients (across social, paid, email, etc.)

·        Assist in planning/implementation of content initiatives

·        Build & maintain artist/label email marketing campaigns

·        Build Chinese social media and digital platform engagement

·        Assist with scheduling social posts and writing blog posts in English and Mandarin

·        Assist in global streaming playlist campaigns

·        Assist in working with the media for release coverage in English and Mandarin

·        Compile press/digital clippings

·        Other tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications

·        Native Mandarin and English language level required

·        Thorough understanding of social media marketing across various platforms in both China (weibo, wechat, etc.) and globally (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

·        Thorough understanding of digital distribution platforms in both China (Xiami, Cloud Music, etc.) and globally (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.)

·        Administrative, copywriting, and blog writing skills are essential

·        Knowledge of SEO is an asset

·        Passion for music and the digital space
