Job Description

Creative Industry Internship Job Description (Minimum 3 Months)
Learn and Work Photography, Videography, Design, Content Creation or Mix Media

Cover Note

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to support our crew and our creativity, you will be photographing and/or filming on actual assignments and doing editing/post-production, you are someone who loves what you do, you don't ignite the passion in your work, you ignite the passion in others with your work.

You will learn:

  • Actual operations in a boutique studio

  • The creative industry and its inner workings

  • Working with the crew on actual assignments and projects

  • Soft skills, learning mindset, teamwork and the little fine things in life besides creative that makes a creative… creative

  • Balancing between creative direction and client’s requirements

  • Being resourceful and how modern creatives learn and improvise with creative solutions

 

Your task includes and depending on your speciality and knowledge;
(Task varies and depending on the team you support, you may not be required to focus on certain tasks, i.e if you are heavy on photography, you may not be required to work on videos):

 

  • Editing of Photos Using Photoshop and Lightroom

  • Video Post Production

  • Assisting in Photography and/or Videography assignments

  • Doing actual shoots yourself (Photography and/or Videography)

  • Operating Photo Booths including setup and tear down

  • Designing portfolio, pitches, graphic elements for social media, photo booths etc

  • Meeting deadlines

  • Working and liaising with clients directly (Depending on the work)

  • Other ad-hoc duties

  • Have fun, work hard, learn and never stop being creative

  • Have a learning, positive attitude, and mentality, no complaining or we won't let you drink our Dasani water

 

Prerequisite:

 

  • Knowledge and know-how on Adobe Softwares, minimally Photoshop, Lightroom and/or Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus but not a requirement

  • Have your own laptop that has the software

  • Proficient in using digital resources such as Youtube independently to learn specific functions, skills, i.e photoshop frequency separation, premiere pro transitions to accomplish tasks and assignments

  • Basic photo editing and/or video editing skills and operating a DSLR

  • Understanding of ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed

  • Able to take instructions, feedback and have initiative

  • You do not have to own a DSLR, having one is a plus (If you have, let us know)

  • You do not fear humans and is outgoing, outspoken, outer space

 

Working Hours and Allowance:

  • 6 Days Work Week

  • Off day either on Mondays or Tuesdays and depending on the schedule of events

  • Weekdays (Except off days) (1030 am to 6 pm) unless there is an off-site event

  • Weekends: Depending on the event timing (If any) or outdoor/studio photoshoot/assisting

  • Need not to return or report to the studio if there is an off-site event unless there is equipment that needs to retrieve or return

  • S$800/month(For Local Poly/ITE) S$1000/month(For Local Unis) S$500(Private)
