You will work closely with the Finance and Distribution team on various insurance and finance-related data analytics projects. You will get to experience data preparation and feature engineering processes. Furthermore, you will be involved with the AP process. There will be plenty of challenging hands-on opportunities for you to gain real-world exposure. You will be reporting to the Senior Finance Manager and will be guided along the way by the Financial Analyst and Assistant Finance Manager.
- Process payment with finance executive.
- Understand the finance process and provide opinion on the process.
- Document SOP and business rules for data.
- Clean the data according to the analytics requirements.
- Understand and manipulate volumes of data from internal and external sources.
- Provide new insights by analyzing existing data from single or multiple sources to identify and generate value-adding insights for the finance function.
- Analyze and review data gathered, identify problems (which can also include understanding the process) and opportunities for improvement (which may include SQL and VBA scripts)
- To prepare PowerPoint slides and/or Tableau dashboards to communicate the analytic results.
- Fulfill tasks set out by the managers.
